CI Basic Chaplain Training (BCT)
Chaplains International’s Basic Chaplain Training (BCT) is a cutting edge training that is vital for chaplains at all levels of expertise, beginners and veterans alike.
This program delivers wisdom, knowledge, and understanding on a wide range of relevant topics needed by chaplains in the field.
CI Officers Candidate School (OCS)
You’ll undergo training in OCS for 20 weeks to ensure you’re prepared to successfully lead others. Training will include two phases of advanced classroom instruction and on-the-ground training through your District Supervisor that you’ll complete as part of a small squad.
CI Warrant Officers Candidate School (WOCS)
Chaplains International‘s Warrant Officer Candidate School ( WOCS) is an officer candidate school based out of Bakersfield, CA, that trains, assesses, and evaluates potential commissioned warrant officers of Chaplains International.

CI Basic Leadership School (BLS)
The CI Basic Leader School (BLS), is the first course of study in the Chaplains Internationational non-commissioned officer Education System ( NCOES ). BLS is a 12-Week long course that trains specialists and corporals in the fundamentals of leadership.

CI Advance Leadership School (ALS)
ALS focuses on the skills needed to lead squad-and platoon-sized units. It consists of a 12-week online program and a practical application phase. This course is for you if you’ve been selected for promotion to staff sergeant.
CI Senior Leadership School (SLS)
SLS is a branch-specific course that focuses on the technical and tactical skills, knowledge, and experience needed to lead platoon-and company-sized units. This course is for you if you’ve been selected for promotion to sergeant first class.
CI First Sergeant School (FSS)
FSS focuses on unit administration, personnel management, logistics, and communication skills. It consists of a self-study phase and small-group instruction conducted at the Divisional level of leadership. This course is for you if you’re a Sergeant Sirst Class or Master Sergeant and want to become a First Sergeant of a company.
CI Sergeant Major's School (SMS)
CI SMS is a 10-month long course that prepares senior non-commissioned Officers to lead at the highest levels of Chaplains International. This course is for you if you want to become a senior non-commissioned Officer.
CI Command Sergeant Major's School (CSMS)
CSMS is a five-day course that focuses on assigning and utilizing Soldiers, developing training plans, caring for Soldiers and their families, and more. This course is for you if you’re a Sergeant Major who wants to become a battalion Command Sergeant Major.
