ACLS Provider Course Description

This Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest, the first 10 minutes of an adult bradyarrhythmic arrest, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies.

Course Overview: Students will develop proficiency in advanced resuscitation techniques, systematic patient assessment, and algorithm-based decision making. The course emphasizes high-performance team dynamics, effective communication strategies, and evidence-based interventions for cardiovascular emergencies. Through case-based learning and hands-on practice, participants will gain confidence in leading and participating in resuscitation efforts.

Prerequisites: Current BLS Provider certification required

Certification: Upon successful completion of skills testing and written examination, participants receive an AHA ACLS Provider course completion card, valid for two years.
